AWS Infrastructure Engineer
About the Role
We’re looking for a part-time AWS Infrastructure Engineer to maintain and monitor our existing cloud infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone who can troubleshoot issues, make necessary adjustments, and ensure uptime, but doesn’t need to be actively engaged full-time. Manage ECS instances, RDS databases, and S3 buckets, making adjustments when needed.
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues.
Oversee integrations with GitHub Actions, Datadog, and other third-party services.
Implement configuration changes only when necessary to optimize system performance.
Requirements
Strong experience managing AWS infrastructure, particularly ECS, RDS, and S3.
Ability to diagnose and resolve cloud infrastructure issues.
Familiarity with GitHub Actions, Datadog, and third-party service integrations.
Experience with cloud security best practices.
Availability for occasional work as needed (some weeks may have little to no tasks).
Compensation
Hourly rate preferred, as workload will vary.
Estimated budget: $800–$1,000/month, depending on actual hours worked.
